A comprehensive line of homothermic soft blankets and rigid plates designed for the active maintainence of body temperature of experimental animals at pre-set target Temperature within the range of 32 – 45°C. Available models range from mice to rabbits, all using the 400 Yello spring series temperature probes, especially designed for use in animals. Blanket and plates are heated with DC current, without generating electrical interference.  

Features   

¤  Available for mouse, rat, hamster or rabbit  
¤  The complete system consists of a Control Unit, a blanket or pad and a temperature probe
¤  The desired body temperature (32 - 45ºC) is easily set by the front panel of the control Unit  
¤  The body temperature is controlled by the linear temperature probe connected to the Control Unit 
¤  When the body temperature falls below the target, the Control Unit increases the temperature of the blanket
¤  Does not produce electrical noise owing to the DC power supply  
¤  Temperature probes interchangeable  
¤  The Control Units HB-101 can be supplied also with RS 232 communications port & software, so the user can see the 
    temperature data on the PC screen at selected time periods.

Option
The Control Unit HB-121 has a double temperature display with two temperature probes. It can therefore be controlled either the rectal temperature and the blanket or the body surface temperature. A switch allows to select the probe which temperature will be used for control.
