Being
capable of use in different variations, these mouse/rat head holding
devices offer wide applicability.
Three-point
clamping arrangement on a single bar, comprised of a mouthpiece, a
nosepiece and ear bars, ensures secure fixation of the head of a
mouse/rat. Dovetail type sliders incorporated into the
mouthpiece/nosepiece are smooth and wobble-free. The simple one-touch
locking system permits easy fixation of the head. The head-rotatable
design allows flexible 360-degree head angle adjustment. The
easy-to-detach head clamp unit facilitates fixing the head in an
easy-to-operate position.
When
used in combination with an optionally available mounting adaptor, the
low-center-of-gravity design enables the detachable head clamp unit to
be installed on a microscope stage, allowing the securely fixed head of
a mouse/rat to be observed under a microscope.
