The
bath size of the RC-22
series chambers will accommodate brain as well as
other tissue slices. The tissue of interest is fixed
in place by a U-shaped hold down bar commonly termed a
“harp”. The harp use a fine Lycra®
thread to hold the slice in place allowing maximum
access to the preparation. The large size bath and
special platform clamp design allow good access for
immersion optics and electrodes. Thread spacing on the
harp is 2 mm and anchor weight is 300 mg. One harp is
supplied with each chamber. Coverslip size is 22x40
mm.
