This unit can bevel micropipette tips, with diameters ranging from a few µm to tens of µm, at different angles. The coarse and
fine movement coaxial manipulator ensures stable height adjustment of the pipettes. The EG-40 incorporates a special motor that minimises vibration and eliminates wobbling of the rotating grinder at all speeds,
thus making it easy to grind tips to within about 1 µm. A vertical adaptor makes it possible to grind the pipette tip flat as a first stop in the production of holding pipettes.
