Master-8 is an 8-channel programmable pulse-generator based on advanced microprocessor technology. Master-8 can activate up to 8 different instruments. Master-8 is a very flexible system since it does not use a master clock to control all the channels. Each channel operates independently in one of several modes and can be internally connected to other channels. With Master-8 you can easily switch your set-up between 8 preprogrammed settings by a single command.

This allows several users to work on the same experimental set-up without reprogramming Master-8 every time. The amplitude and polarity of each channel are fixed by the dials and switches on the front panel. All the other parameters of each channel and the internal connections are set by inserting the new parameter via the keyboard.
