The IX 1 is a single channel microelectrode preamplifier designed to serve a wide variety of applications including: Intracellular recording; Extracellular recording; Teaching application requiring ease of use. The 1X1 is a complete instrument with DC current passing capability, filtering, and electrode impedance testing.


Features

  Small Box Headstage with choice of five current ranges
  Buzz with independent amplitude control to facilitate cell
    penetration
  Small size takes up less space, yet is uncluttered, easy
    to use, with well defined controls
  Optional X1000 Voltage Gain AC Coupled Headstage for
    extracellular recording (Model 8024-15).

               HB120 for glass 1.0 to 1.2mm 0.D.;
               HB180 for  glass 1.5 to 1.8 mm O.D. (order separately).
Extracellular Recording: 8024-15 Extracellular  Headstage
               (AC coupled, voltage gain = 1000) (order separately).
